Working alongside the Rotary Club of Westhaven, Mount Albert Grammar School’s Interact team took part in the ‘Cans for a Cause’ food collection in June. Thanks to the enthusiasm of students across the school, they collected 26 large boxes of non-perishable food to support the Mission’s Food Security team during the busy winter months.
Every tin, packet and pantry staple they collected helped individuals and families access the food they need when times are tough.
Together, they showed the incredible impact a community can have when people come together for a common cause.
