Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do

From serving meals to packing parcels, our volunteers bring compassion and energy to every part of the Mission.

Christmas volunteering

  • Thanks to the amazing generosity of our community, all Christmas volunteer roles are now full. We currently have openings for volunteers at our Mission Grocer stores, and retail op shops. Scroll for more detail.

If you’d like to make an impact today, why not join Auckland Angels? By collecting gifts with your workplace, school, friends, or whānau, you’ll bring joy to families who are doing it tough this Christmas. More info can be found here.

Working at Haeata gives me the opportunity to interact with all sorts of people; the kitchen staff and the people we serve. There are so many characters. I think it’s important to be empathetic and understanding, and the best way to develop that ability is to be around people outside of your normal circle, to grow your bubble.
