What we don’t do

If you're in immediate danger…

Call 111 immediately and ask for the police, ambulance or fire. Silent emergency calls: If you, your children or others are in danger then dial 111 and ask for the police. If you don’t speak the operator will ask you to press 55 on your mobile or to press any button on a landline. When you do that your call goes automatically to the police. You need to keep listening. Hold onto the phone and respond by pressing any further keys the police suggest.
